Los Angeles Business Leaders Support Cadiz
As the California drought intensifies, the Los Angeles County Business Federation, BizFed, has added its name to the growing list of supporters of the Cadiz Valley Water Conservation, Recovery and Storage Project. BizFed is a grassroots alliance of more than 135 prominent Los Angeles County business leaders.
BizFed CEO Tracy Rafter, said:
The Cadiz Project is an innovative, sustainable water source for Southern California that will greatly benefit our economy and communities. In order to remain one of the world’s leading economies, we must maintain a reliable water supply and we are proud to lend our support to this extremely beneficial project.
Public support for the Cadiz Water Project continues to build as the Project nears implementation. The BizFed endorsement follows many others secured over the last several months, including the Orange County Business Council, the San Gabriel Valley Legislative Coalition of Chambers, the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, and several Southern California Congressional leaders, among others.
